We are a Los Angeles–based mobile SMP service.

Sophia works with clients throughout the Los Angeles area and offers both mobile appointments and sessions at a private studio location for those who prefer an in-salon experience.

Travel appointments may be available depending on location. Please contact us to confirm availability.

Most clients report little to no discomfort during SMP, many say they can barely feel it at all. The sensation is very light and not comparable to a traditional tattoo. After your session, you may experience mild scalp soreness for 24–48 hours, followed by a slight itchiness as the area heals.

Results last up to 10 years. The pigment naturally soften over time, giving you flexibility to adjust your look as your hair evolves.

Yes. Over time, pigments may soften slightly due to sun exposure and natural skin renewal.

Proper aftercare ensures the best possible results from your scalp micropigmentation treatment. Following these guidelines helps the pigment heal properly and maintain long-lasting, natural results.

First 3 Days

  • Keep your scalp completely dry. Do not wash or rinse the area.

  • Avoid sweating or intense physical activity.

  • Do not touch, rub, or scratch the treated area.

  • Avoid wearing tight hats or head coverings when possible.

Days 4–7

  • You may begin gently washing your scalp using lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free shampoo.

  • Pat dry with a clean towel. Avoid rubbing the scalp.

  • Continue avoiding heavy exercise, swimming pools, saunas, and steam rooms.

Days 7–10

  • Light workouts may resume.

  • Continue to avoid environments with excessive moisture or heat such as hot tubs, steam rooms, and saunas.

Sun Exposure

Avoid direct sun exposure during the healing process. After healing, applying SPF 30 or higher to the scalp helps preserve the pigment and maintain your results.

Long-Term Care

Scalp micropigmentation is designed to provide long-lasting results. With proper care, results typically last 8–10 years. To keep the pigmentation looking fresh and maintain your desired density, optional touch-up sessions can be done periodically during that time.
